We are in network with Medicare and are able to work with most private insurances. We also offer Medical Assistance for both voluntary and involuntary admissions. As health care coverage and reporting requirements vary greatly, let us assist you in determining important benefit information.

  • Razors or anything that needs to plug into a wall
  • Weapons, such as blades, knives, guns, or weapon-like items

  • Drugs and Medications (excluding HIV medications)

  • Any effects that could be used to harm others or yourself
  • Casual clothing, Comfortable shoes for exercise (e.g., sneakers, house slippers, etc.)

  • Insurance card and photo I.D. or Driver’s License
  • List of current medications

Yes, there are designated smoking times and areas for Ridgeview patients.

Ridgeview is located outside of Middle Point, OH, in a rural setting.  We are 30 miles west of Lima, OH and 45 miles east of Fort Wayne, IN.

The length of stay is individualized to each patient.  The average stay is approximately 21-30 days.

Ridgeview offers semi-patient rooms.  Patients will be placed in rooms with one or two roommates.

Ridgeview Hospital offers treatment to both male and female patients.  Patients will share rooms with same-gendered roommates.

Ridgeview is an 84-bed psychiatric facility.
